In 2005, Patrick Caracciolo and Laxson Boyd combined their well-established consulting practices – Wadsworth Consulting, Inc. and Whitestar Management Consultants, Inc. – to form Wadsworth Whitestar Consultants.  In the years since, Wadsworth Whitestar has become one of the most respected turnaround consulting firms in its market.

With more than 25 years of diverse experience in general management, operations management and market development management, Laxson Boyd has developed a skill set uniquely suited to the turnaround management profession.  He has a proven record of success managing established businesses, start-ups, and turnarounds – successfully completing his first, the restructuring of a $10 million business unit, in 1988.

Laxson has served as Chief Restructuring Officer of firms with revenues of up to $200 million; as COO of firms with revenues of over $100 million; as President of several start-ups; as Market Development Manager for a Fortune 50 manufacturing firm; and as a consultant to more than 100 middle market firms.  He has also served as a court appointed receiver, acted as assignee in Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors, and provided expert testimony in complex debtor/creditor matters.
